JESUS IS THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH.
We’re one big team.
Under Jesus, this group of believers is led by a team of elders. They’re men elected by the congregation because their walk matches their talk. Elders are shepherds of the flock, guiding them, protecting them, and nourishing them.
You might notice that other than Jesus, there is no one person in charge. Instead we share responsibility, a mutual calling, and the same Spirit.
Staff members serve under the direction of, and in partnership with, the team of elders. We’re all regular people working together to serve the Kingdom in the best way we know how – by equipping God’s people to do Kingdom work. Staff and elders work together as the leadership team for CCW, overseeing its various ministries and those who manage them. The staff is not structured according to position or title, but by giftedness and passion.
